DRESS ETIQUETTE

At the suggestion and request of His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Trinley Lhundup in a meeting with the International Drikung Kagyu Council, we would like to kindly request all foreign attendees to wear your cultural dress during the event. Those who do not have a cultural dress are requested to wear respectful attire such as casual or formal business dress. Can we kindly request to refrain from wearing casual clothes such as jeans, t-shirts, short skirts etc.


FM RADIO DEVICE

We would like to kindly remind you to bring along a personal portable FM Radio headset (receiver) in order to listen the teachings in your language. The entire teachings will be interpreted into English, Chinese, German, Vietnamese, Spanish and Russian.


ORDINATION

His Holiness the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, Lord of the Practice Lineage, will bestow the vows of novice and full ordination to whoever wishes to receive them. Those who wish to receive these vows should submit their names by 10th October 2017 to the International Drikung Kagyu Council via This email address is being protected from spambots. The International Drikung Kagyu Council will offer a yellow rob to all those who are taking the novice vows and a Nam-jar for those who are taking the vows of full ordination.

Additionally, we will make offerings to support all of the Drikung monasteries which holds summer retreats in Tibet, India and Nepal. Those monasteries and nunneries who organises summer retreats are requested to submit the name of the monastery/nunnery.
